The documents mainly concentrate on the employee side of the industry and particularly to trade union activities. The material is held in many media: manuscript documents, photographs, audio and videotapes, posters and banners. Links to a small number of images of documents in the collection have been provided, in particular to a series of photographs from the 1984/85 Miners' Strike.
